There is a long standing tradition of painting the cargo trucks of Pakistan. These trucks travel across South Asia adorned with bright colors and whimsical narratives. The paintings range in content from political sentiments to funny sayings, iconic figures, folktale scenes, familiar landscapes, flowers, birds, poetry and calligraphy. The paintings often express the personality of the truck owners.

I encourage people to use this art activity as a way to brainstorm and talk about the changes we can make together. I hope you create art that looks to a brighter future.
